Rigondeaux is too small for featherweight. He could still make 118 really, so I see no reason to proceed with this fight at this point. All of the risk is on him since Lomachenko isn't willing to compromise (and there's no reason why he should have to). I'd rather see Rigo against Frampton or Quigg.

In this situation it would be a very logical solution and if Loma really can make that weight easily it would be just a little generosity to agree on it from his side.
Either his manager lied about Loma's ring weight (unlikely) or just Rigo simply called Loma's bluff with agreeing on 126 and Loma never thought seriously that he will fight Rigo and he thought it will fall on the weight class question but it didn't so they only could back out from the fight with expose themselves.Comment

that boogey man is a boogey man but he shouldnt have to give up nearly 20lbs at 34 years old to a guy who's beggining him to move up..99.9% of boxers are cheating weight classes...floyd, pac, and rigo are not..when they ask for certain terms on weight it makes it respectable..u have jr mw rehydrating to 180lbs...130lb rehydrating to 154...it just is not rightComment

you're the best kind of fan..nothing but even fights would happen...understand that roy jones and other greats who went up in weight easily fighting bigger men agree with you..they even favor same day weigh ins...the thing is when a guy disrespects a rehydration clause do we just throw off these big money fights and million dollar promotions?Comment

Why? Its using an advantage like reach, or speed, or back peddling all fight and simply touching your opponent scoring points. As long as a guy makes weight, that's all that matters.Comment

Rigo knows Loma would beat him that's why he's asking for a rehydration clause.
Loma would decapitate the overhyped Cuban.
In this thread: RigoTARDS who have came to the realization their "untouchable" idol could potential lose to a guy with 5 professional fights. LmfaoComment
