Rigo is the one that needs fights, Klimas was just making an offer. He can take it or leave it.
I'm pretty sure that loma and his team have said that since Walters lost his belt, they have no intention on fighting him, even at 126.

Despite all the talk of a featherweight clash between Vasyl Lomachenko and Nicholas Walters, Lomachenko doesn’t want the fight after Walters lost his title on the scales.

That's the article right there, and here's the quote

"Walters is not interesting for Lomachenko, as he lost his title on scale," Egis Klimas, Lomachenko‘s manager, told ******.com. "He did not make weight. We are not interested [in] preparing for the bout and not knowing if opponent going to make weight and [then] going into ring with welterweight (On the night of the Marriaga fight Walters weighed in at the welterweight limit)."

"The day will come when Lomachenko will move to 130-pound division and the bout with Walters can be made."

That makes sense. Walters doesn't have a title any more and doesn't know what division he's going to box in next.

They say they'll move to 130 in time and if Walters is there, they'll fight him.

They aren't asking for any bull**** catchweights or rehydration clauses.

So loma fans cry that Salido was a "welterweight" yet e was 10 pounds bigger than loma. But without rehydration then loma will easily be more than 10 pounds bigger then rigo..

          Salido didn't make the weight.

What does one have to do with the other...?

Rehydration clause isnt the same as a catchweight.

            DURF.

Yeah that was Egis Klimas, the manager. You should know by now don't always take too seriously what managers and promoters say.
I don't even trust Klimas and I'm a fan of several of his fighters.

What will you say if it does happen? You act like this fight will never happen because it's not happening next. We don't even know what Walters is going to do with his career, he said he'll have an answer two weeks after his fight but hasn't said anything. I think even Walters knows he can't make weight anymore. Lomachenko is going to move up once he wants or needs to. That'll probably be faster than you expect. Loma doesn't really have any opponents at 126, I think that's why Klimas called out Rigo in the first place. There's only Vetyeka and Grado. He can't fight Haymon guys and Selby doesn't seem to want to fight anytime soon.
Don't dis to soon, the fight will happen (unless Walters signs with Haymon, there was strong rumors earlier this year of him signing) it will just happen at 130 now instead of 126. I don't see the problem, at the end of the day we just want to see the fight, right?
I always say this: If Walters made weight in the first place we wouldn't be having this conversation, now would we?

You also forgot to mention that he is scared ****less to face Walters who is "too big".

At least Rigo made an attempt to face the bigger man. Lomachenko just straight up said "we're not fighting a bigger guy." =/

                  Exactly!
People are acting like Loma doesn't want to fight Walters. It will most likely happen at 130. Loma doesn't have to move up just yet, because another fighter failed to make weight.

But he's willing to face Simpiwe Vetyeka who DOESN'T have a BELT either.
