A year ago, Khan was a nobody on this message board who didn't deserve a shot at Mayweather. Now, Mayweather is ducking him! What a difference a year makes.

No active fighter at 147 will enhance Floyd's legacy, so it doesn't really matter who he fights.

If he beats Thurman, Thurman was a hypejob/ducked Khan
If he beats Khan, Khan had a weak chin/ducked Thurman
If he beats Brook, then he ducked *insert fighter here*
      etc
      etc

He might as fight who he wants to, because outside of GGG (who people would make excuses for unless the fight was at the middleweight limit), people are going to complain regardless.

Well most of them were well past their best and not considered the #1 pound for pound fighter.

Incorrect. If he paid his bills and fought Brook. He could have "retired" 4 belt undisputed. Making him the first fighter at WW and third in any division to hold all 4 straps.
