WE the fans wanted to see Gamboa-Lopez, but Arum's greedy piece of shit ass denied everyone one of the best FW fights that could ever have been made.

That, and Mares-Donaire not happening before Donaire-Rigodeaux was matchmaking at its most idiotic. I don't care about the GBP/TR feud at the time - that fight needed to happen, but instead we got both Mares and Donaire being ruined in 2013.

Lomachenko signed with TR under the condition that he would get a 126 world title shot in his second fight. Rigo was not in the picture. By the time he beat Garry Russel, Rigo's contract was up.

And Rigo vs Lomo was something Arum has been talking about for a while now.

That's fine. It just seems like making an in house fight would be easier than it is now.

I hope the fight happens even though IMO them calling out Rigo is to take the spotlight off Loma not wanting to fight Walters.

Sounds like Arum has good intentions, whether he has any intention to do this fight is another thing. Loma does have a size and weight advantage on Rigo though, and they also have the upper hand at the negotiating table, clearly...so hopefully thatll be enough for Bob to make it happen. Rigo isnt in the position to be making any demands, he needs to take this oppurtunity if Bob is serious.

The difference there was that he had a Puerto Rican cash cow who could sell out arenas. He was looking to build another Miguel Cotto. He didn't want to rush him and have him get beat by the lesser known Cuban. The thing is that when you delay fights one of the fighters eventually gets exposed and that was Juan Ma.
