Comments Thread For: Rigondeaux-Quigg Not Next, But in 12 Months Says Hearn

WBA 'regular' super bantamweight champion Scott Quigg stayed on course for a bumper bout with the likes of Carl Frampton, Nonito Donaire and Guillermo Rigondeaux after retaining his WBA super-bantamweight title with a second-round stoppage of Kiko Martinez.

Over in America, Frampton was floored twice before taking a points win over Alejandro Gonzalez Jr on the same night, and Hearn will hold fresh talks with the Northern Irishman’s advisers about a major domestic fight.

Believe it when I see it. Surely Hearn knows he has no chance

Man this Hearn guy is getting bold in his predictability. He drops names and make it look like you're his third choice. Then he turns around and beg for your attention. He mentions Thurman, Donaire, even Rios...

According to Hearn everything is pending but nothing ever gets done

Everybody's waiting for Rigo to turn 75 to fight him. Lol The business of boxing today is a joke. I lose more interest every day.

Quigg vs Rigondeaux is a complete mismatch. I don't know why people would even want to see it now.

Quigg has better options - Frampton, Donaire - if he comes through those (which he won't), then I'd understand the demand for this fight.

What does Rigo even gain from the fight? Oh you beat Scott Quigg? Erm....ok then.

Pretty much they want to wait for Rigo to slow down or for Quigg to get better. Bunch of cowards, if you are a champ you should face the best. There is no shame in losing to the best.
