His punching form is actually really good also imo...but he stops and admires his work instead of finishing the job. he also goes into that shell when he gets hit..Spilka's shots were not even hitting flush, and he just goes back and waits. But that form on the straight right off the jab is a weapon. The one time he hung in there instead of backing off, he took care of business with that counter shot, and it was a hell of a shot.

Southpaws will make you "over think" your plan of attack. The guy did a good job moving his head and staying low, very good job! He just doesn't have the work rate needed to keep Wilder backing out!
I hope the young man is ok he got clipped on the chin and was hurt badly.

You saw that Wilder is a decent man because he didn't celebrate and act out while the guy was down. He dpoes show some class when the "act" is turned off!
