      lol.. Exactly, good point.

It's unclear if he'll fight again, I'm beginning to wonder if he'll suddenly say he's got an injury or something, skip September and then possibly fight in May instead. It's getting too close to the fight date, there's less than 8 weeks until Sept 12th now!

It sounds to me that Floyd has seriously lost love for boxing, his father pretty much admitted that Floyd just wants easy fights to bump up his record.

On paper these names are all cool

        - but Canelo was weightdrained and green

        - Pacquiao 5 years too late

        - Marquez never fought over 135

        - Guerrero and Ortiz undeserving

give me a call when Floyd fights a guy that he cant outrange all the time with his huge reach advantage, why do you think he never challenged someone like Margarito or Paul Williams? He will also never fight someone like Lara or Andrade, because these would challenge him with their reach.

If he wants to fight another WW, then Kell Brook, Keith Thurman or Tim Bradley are the ones that are acceptable.

I am not even asking for Floyd to fight GGG at 154, Floyd knows himself that GGG might destroy him, but that guy should just stop calling himself TBE if he rather fights people that he knows he can defeat instead of taking challenges. Check out what previous Greats did and what kind of challenges they took on. Floyd TBE lmao.

for real man floyd announces he is going to fight alexander next and the internet explodes. A floyd opponent has to be like a prime middlewight to be worthy or a fighter that is taking peds.

How is Floyd even considering fighting this guy??? Dulorme beat him before getting whooped by TC. Mayfield couldn't even get a shot at Danny Garcia a lil while ago. Lol

Floyd fights who the people want, he took his time with Manny but Arum has something to do with that as well. He fought Cotto at 154, Canelo, and Manny. All of which everyone swore had the power and skills to beat Floyd. Cotto has been fighting no names, Manny fought Algieri for god sake. Floyd has been fighting super fights every fight and he should allowed for once to fight the WBA Number 2 ranked fighter. It is a free fight and a good match. This is more a stay busy fight but a challenge then he will fight Manny in May or someone like Khan if he ever looks good winning.

After disclosing those two names, very few people took Mayweather seriously. But now it appears that Mayweather may have been serious after all, with Berto being widely reported as the opponent of choice for Mayweather's debut on network television, with the fight taking place on CBS.
