Khan has been chasing the match since 2013 and it appears that he may get passed over for yet another time.

Mayweather is set to return on September 12th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Following Mayweather's big decision win over Manny Pacquiao on May 2nd, Khan was pegged as the frontrunner for the September date.
