Comments Thread For: Wach Will Help Klitschko Prepare To Beat Tyson Fury

Polish heavyweight giant Mariusz Wach (31-1, 17KOs) will return to the ring on September 26 in Lodz, Poland. And then a few days later he will travel to Wladimir Klitschko's camp as sparing partner.

The WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight champion is preparing for a WBA/WBO mandatory defense against undefeated Tyson Fury in October.

Whelp, Fury is even more ****ed.

He's definitely gonna be eating his words "I will retire if I lose to Klitschko"

He has to prepare for a well rounded boxer with good movement so he brings in a club footed oaf who can't box to save his life and moves like a mummy. This is only going to help Fury.

Wlad is going to be ****ing ready, man.

I wish Wach would get a whole new team and make another run; dude is associated with too many shady people. Seems like he isnt focusing on his boxing since losing his title shot. Guy has a lot of talent.

I can see how it helps size wise but other than that is Wach just going to eat right hands in sparring all day?

wach wilder fury etc all look very clumsy

it may be as much the visual effect of their size as actual clumsiness.. it's hard to tell. Watch Semmy Schilt fights some time, arguably greatest heavyweight kickboxer of all time. He looked so slow and clumsy and had few fans but he was actually extremely precise.

Guys like wlad who retain tight fast movement at 240+ lbs aren't very common, period though.

I wonder if Vitali will do a lil sparring just for fun... Talk about a better-in-every-way version of Fury. Think I'd rather face 2fast in a real fight than spar Ironfist.
