I have a hard time seeing Scott Quigg passing a drivers liscense test. That man has to have at least a slight case of downs. I thought it before, then he took that picture holding up that check...lawd have mercy.

He could pass for the younger brother of 'Bez' from the Happy Mondays.
Bez is probably a bit sharper though....Comment

Yes.
Frampton beat him 3 years ago when he was on a great run and was the first person to ever stop him. He also outboxed him before stopping him.
Great punch and stoppage from Quigg, but he looked very uncomfortable with the pressure until landing that uppercut and it wasn't as good of a Martinez that Frampton knocked out.Comment

I think Quigg gets a lot of unfair stick tbh. I didnt know much about him until this year. Been following his interviews and progress. I think he's the more genuine one out of him and Frampton. That's the feeling I get.
With regards to the fight. Going by what happened last Saturday, you cant help but think it's a really good matchup and not the lopsided fight in Carl's favour that most people think it is. However Carl was fighting away from home, had weight issues too, canvas was apparantly soft?
Impressed with what Quigg did against Martinez. Lets hope the fight can be made.
He does seem like a very simple genuine guy. A bit too simple if you ask me. C'unts like Eddie Hearn being all pally pally with him annoys me.Comment

I don't think there is any evidence to suggest that Martinez is a worse fighter since Frampton last did him. Even after Martinez got knocked out by Frampton in their first bout he went on to win the world title and defend it twice!Yes.

Their wins are equal in my eyes, whether it's getting them out early or outboxing them for several rounds. Neither had any real struggle with Martinez so it's conclusive that they are both a level above him.Comment
