Comments Thread For: Arreola: My Performance Was ****, Don't Deserve Wilder

I am one of the biggest fans of Arreola on Boxingscene but this is deflection by Chris.
He isn't "keeping it real," he's just using his performance as an excuse because he doesn't want the shot against Wilder. He doesn't.
Wilder would just need to watch the Vitali-Arreola fight and the outcome would be the exact same. Chris knows this, and is not in the right place mentally or physically to take the challenge.
Dude is probably making decent money fighting small fights and PBC and wants to stick with that, although he'd never admit it. And personally? I'd rather see Arreola, a fun, decent fighter, fight some other sluggers in competitive fights 2-3 times a year than see him get smashed to bits by Wlad or Wilder.
Just because a guy isnt in the very top tier of the weight division doesnt mean there isnt a place for him in Boxing or that he's just an opponent. Bring on Arreola-Mansour or Arreola-Scott.Last edited by paulf; 07-19-2015, 01:49 PM.Comment

Dude some valid points, and obviously you like the guy as do I. So why the hell would you want to see him fight Mansour?!? That would be Chris's retirement party!I am one of the biggest fans of Arreola on Boxingscene but this is deflection by Chris.
