Wilder likes fighting bums, he will probably fight Arreola even though fat boy has already had 3 title shots and lost them horribly.

Arreola is at least very honest about his performance. Hopefully Wilder won't somehow twist this into a reason for giving Arreola a shot.

I'd like to see Wilder face Lucas Browne in September.

He's right. He doesn't. That won't stop Wilder from picking him as an opponent of course, or Arreola accepting the payday and probably getting KOed even quicker than Molina. So screw him anyway.

Arreola's always been awful but he was at least entertaining, in a tough man kind of way. Now that he seems to have lost what little speed and power he did have why would anyone bother to watch another fight of his, unless it's to watch him get brutally KOed? Not even sure if that's particularly entertaining, to be honest.

So par for the course, for Wilder then.

The number of times I've heard Arreola say **** like this, I don't believe him anymore. He always says "next time I'll be in shape" or something like that. Next time this, next time that. Arreola never lives up to his promise of actually being in proper shape. I doubt he'll live up to the potential he once had unless he seriously knuckles down and trains like a beast. Usually he's an entertaining fighter though so he can still make a decent living in the sport of boxing, even if he never makes it to the top.

What's the point of being honest if you're terrible to begin with?

in the 80s & 90s once a HW hit his 30s he was on the decline & usually relegated to journeymen opponent if he was still fighting in his mid 30s. The only guys who were able to keep it up were guys who were in solid shape & looked after themselves. I know they say 40 is the new 30 but that can only be said for a couple of HWs. Klitschko & povetkin come to mind. Even povetkin came in out of shape a few times & has only been in great shape the last 3-4 fights. Wilder & Jennings are 2 guys that stay in great shape as well which should help them. Even Fury has issues staying in shape so he could have a smaller window of longevity. It's pretty sad when the best HW in the world is almost 40 & is light years ahead of his biggest threat in terms of skill. After the sanders & Brewster fights I don't think anyone thought klitschko would be where he is today. Back then only steward & George foreman said he would be champion. After Brewster roy jones compared wladimir to butterbean. Another larry holmes type era & don't don't see anyone beating Wlad. He will retire an ATG. Where in the list will vary from person to person but he will be in the top 10 in my opinion. He will be the 2nd best HW of my era behind only lennox lewis. Arreola is sinking fast...
