  • Comments Thread For: Arreola: My Performance Was ****, Don't Deserve Wilder

Don Haskins Center, El Paso, Texas - Heavyweight contender Chris "The Nightmare" Arreola (36-4-1, 31 KOs) was hoping to put in a very impressive performance against "Big" Fred Kassi (18-3-1, 10 KOs), but instead the Southern Cali fighter walked away with a lackluster ten round majority draw.

Arreola was already trying to recover from his recent decision win over Curtis Harper in March. That fight was set to be an easy win, but instead became a life and death fight for eight rounds.

      Way to go Chris!

If he keeps saying stuff like this, he's going to be Wilder's next opponent, for sure.

He'll more than likely get the shot anyway. Who else can Wilder fight right now?

Arreola's always been humble at least from what I can tell. I never heard a boxer say anything like that. And he's right, he doesn't deserve a shot. He barely sc****d by two prospects and last night he arguably lost.

I have no idea why they keep wasting TV slots on this dude. Didn't he just go life and death with some garbage truck driver on Spike TV a couple of months ago? He was terrible.
