I don't think Ward fights are boring. I think Froch needs to say this to justify his blatant ducking of a second arse whipping from Ward but I feel he's right about DeGale's chance at beating either of the two

Carl needs to stay off the Ward thing as Ward dominated Froch with ease and made him look very ordinary .Now if Froch don't see this as a Ward achievement then Carl can't think that much of his self.

He didn't give up his belts to avoid anyone, he never fought anyone after giving up the belts. That's one of the many steps towards retirement.

Yeah though, style wise Froch would have broke him down and stopped him in the 2nd half. The Groves that Froch fought twice was a more difficult style for him than DeGale.

To be fair it's not much of an achievement if Ward beats Degale. He's not on his level.
