Chavez hits harder than any fighter GGG has ever faced. Chavez has a good chin. Give Garcia some time and Chavez the benefit of the doubt - him missing weight was just a function of their scale being off.

I just hope the guy can get his act together. No reason he can't, except of course for the dreaded Arreola Disease. The guy actually did well with the jab for a round or two. Can't figure why he's so inconsistent.

I don't seem to remember training being too tough to do 45 years ago... but then maybe my mind is slipping. Oh well, hopefully Robert Garcia will keep pushing Jr and get him at least halfway decent. SMH

You like fighters who throw less punches a fight than Rigo?

He's an average obese desk worker like 90% of America, he can weigh what he wants

Chavez cheapens the sport using his name to consistently miss weight, boss refs around, get 100 second chances, he's holdin up the line

It's not your fault, the "assistant ref" didn't give away that I was being sarcastic.

Chavez is another Aerrola a lazy Mex

Chavez is the one laughing using his limited skills to make millions in terrible fights. Chavez is earning a living as a boxer when his boxing skills are just average. Making good money is the only goal for a fighter to support himself and his family. Chavez is doing this and keeps getting lousy fights and making millions. One smart mex.

He looked great in round 5 when he was firing off his jab, which by the way, is very good. He just gets sloppy bulling in head first, has limited footwork and seems to have a low ring IQ. I still think he is good for the sport of boxing. I would love to see him fight GGG or Froch - it would be awesome!
He would get vaporized by GGG in 3.
