This win legitimized Quigg as a champion as far as i'm concerned. I thought Martinez might beat him down but Quigg looked really big in there, great uppercut that ****ed Martinez up and then poured it on. Really big win.

Quigg is really good. I wholly expect him to retire Donaire in the 7th and fight Rigo after his fight with Loma or maybe Frampton.

That was pretty damn impressive. The uppercut was a thing of beauty and Quigg finished the job quickly.
It's even more impressive since Martinez came out strong in the first round.

You could see Quigg was trying to get that jab established then catch him with that uppercut..which i didnt expect that early. That was executed beautifully, jab, Kiko reaction, uppercut(i think that was a jab) Which caught Kiko as well as the audience, by SURPRISE! I honestly thought he was gonna use movement like in the 1st, i didnt expect Quigg to step inside on Kiko like that. Nice job by Quigg. If Kiko had a longer reach he couldve capitolized on that movement, other than that he wouldve got caught regardless, he was a bit wide on the inside.
QuiggDonaires actually a nice scrap.Last edited by wlliam; 07-18-2015, 10:40 PM.

He was under pressure to perform tonight Quigg. He's taken a bashing this year when not really doing much wrong, it was Eddie Hearn's publicity stunts that caused it. So i'm pleased he got the win in such style.
