Honestly I've never thought he "ducked" Oscar because he thought DLH would beat him. I always thought he wouldn't want to chance a loss at the judges hands. A close fight may have gone to Oscar to set up a trilogy . Remember this was the biggest fight PPV wise. In the end May has always made the best decisions regarding his career.

Any way you spin it, intentionally avoiding a match is ducking.Honestly I've never thought he "ducked" Oscar because he thought DLH would beat him. Why would he fight a guy he just beat who had all the advantages. He would have schooled his ass worse in a rematch and wouldnt get ay credit for it anyway. And stop making floyd threads seriously you make like 5 a dayComment

I remember Floyd retiring rather than face an undefeated, 2 weight world champ Cotto or IBF champ Margarito. Didn't seem all that excited about the prospect of fighting guys like Paul Williams, Carlos Quintana or Kermit Cintron either. Don't think he was particularly worried about rematching an aging DLH.Comment

Don't you guys get tired of the tail wagging the dog routines on this forum?!?!
Its definitely a troll thread when the OP starts the thread and then watches as you guys go back and forth with what's been stated hundreds of times over.

Mayweather wanted the rematch, Oscar was unwilling to give him a fair cut. That's the end of it, on top of that, why the hell would anyone want to see it again? Oscar was never gonna do anything with Mayweather.Comment
