GGG one dimensional? Do you even follow boxing? - People seem to forget (=ignore) that these days most of the ducking is done by promoters, not the fighters. I´m sure GGG would be more than happy to fight Ward at 164 or 168, but Loeffler wants to play it safe. And if (a BIG if) WBC guarantees a shot at Cotto - Canelo winner next, fighting Ward this fall would be kind of silly from promoters POV. I still hope the fight happens tho, as Cotto already turned the lineal/WBC belt into a useless trinket. But hey, everybody likes money.

Now let's be fair: Floyd is, obviously, 'da money fight'... Ward, Hopkins called him at 160... Martinez, Golovkin called him at 154...
The article here reads that "Ward is looking to face Golovkin in the fall."
I didn't see that in the news -- on the contrary: I saw that Ward would need some more tune ups... As about agreeing (or not) to fight GGG at 164 and a 50/50 split, Ward is still silent... I'm waiting for (team) Ward's answer...Comment

... I won't ask for Floyd vs GGG -- because it ends up in a kill... I'd ask for Floyd vs Lara, at least!Way to try to divert attention from a fight that could be made right now which is Floyd v. Triple G at 154 lbs for Floyd titles at that weight...
Instead, FIomos, including the Mayweathers, will bring up a guy who just fought at 172 lb and before that said he needs 2-3 tune ups...

I actually like GGG , and in the past I've criticized those on this site who've marginalized his accomplishments . Stopping almost everyone he's fought is a laudable feat , especially tough blue collar guys like Murray . many like to marginalize him but I do not because what he's doing to me is impressive . To beat the guys he's beating is one thing , but to stop them all is a big difference ! Having said that it's now time to fight Ward , no more excuses or catch weight non-sense . If he wants a fight or two at 168 first then fine , but at least make a commitment to fight him at 168 within a reasonable time frame . That's the fight most want to see , and that's my only gripe with him and his team .Last edited by SugarRaRobinson; 07-18-2015, 05:47 AM.Comment

Sensible post ! I don't think u will hear any response to that as I believe that Ward may be having some trouble making 168 nowadays . No way he considers trying to kill himself making 164 . Fighters who look to move up know the risk , and only idiots (in most cases) attempt to move down to chase a fight .Comment

So the article states that Ward is seeking to fight GGG this fall . If this site doesn't post it , is it fair to suggest bias ? Because the article about Ward needing a couple of tune ups was festooned on here with pride .Comment

of course ward beats the hell out of golovkin thats why all you hear about is mayweather and ward fighting kovalav from ggg fans. if they had confidence they would be begging for ggg to try and make that fight. everyone knows ward wins now the only question is will ggg man up before ward moves up to 175. my guess is hell act like hes interested but will price themselves out or request pointless weights etc etcComment
