Youre right. Clearly GGG should not waste time with trying to negotiate terms, but instead he should issue an immediate press release saying he will fight Ward in Oakland at 170 with a 98-2 money split Wards way. Anything less is cowardly

BTW youre an idiot. Now go ahead and red k me you f@ggot since that is your usual response to anyone who disagrees with your dumb@ss....

Let me guess, if he doesn't get GGG, he'll continue with his tune-ups as originally planned? I want Ward/DeGale, but since DeGale is now with Haymon, who knows if that match-up could even happen.

        The feeling isn't mutual.

CW's can be tricky and hurt opponents, but a clause between fighters of two different divisions (a reasonable one) seems fair.
With a post like this, plz tell me your not one of those floyd ducking ggg posters

I think Ward should wait at 168 before moving up to see if he can make that fight. After the winner of Cotto vs Canelo it is not like GGG has many options at 160 he is also 33 years old already so he doesn't have time to wait around either.

I would love to see Ward vs GGG! However it seems like it is some that really don't want to see it they just prefer to continue to talk trash about it on this forum
That's the sad hilarious part. One of the best fights in boxing abd people making excuses as to why it shouldn't happen.

              Ward beats GGG.

GGG has no inside game and obviously lacks in the stamina department. Ward is smart enough to weather the storm early on and take him deep.

And no Im not a Ward fan. I actually enjoy watching GGG more than Ward.

But umm... Idk if this fight will actually happen.

You can't really compare the two's ring IQ. The people Ward have beaten Kovalev would have too.. Doesn't take a genius to realize this. And Kovalev has brutally beaten almost every opponent thrown in front of him, it's rather difficult to judge someone's IQ when no one gives him a challenge.

Dude, Ward has fought tougher as well as a more diverse type of competition than Kovalev. To say Kovalev would have beaten Ward's opponents doesn't have anything to do with the ring IQ argument. Ward has shown an incredible ability to adapt to every style he has faced. Kovalev has blown out people that he should have but didn't have to dig deep down to do so. His fight against Hops showed his ability to control range and fight composed as well as countering off the back foot but this was against a 50 year old Hops so you have to take that at face value and that's still probably his best win. I like Kovalev for the record but some perspective is needed.

GGG showed good stamina in the Murray fight, when has he looked gassed?
