I mean, Devon freakin' Alexander in my opinion could have stopped Maidana that night had he not been so hell bent on matching his clinch stats with this punching stats. That's how bad Maidana looked that night, a guy who has given everybody else hell, even in defeat.

He also went life and death with a shot morales in what was easily the best fight I've bought in five years lol. For whatever reason he was confused by those guys which is odd because he had no issues attacking Floyd. I don't think Devon could repeat that.

lol that is true, man I was rooting so hard for Morales that night, brilliant performance by him. He also gave Danny boy all he could handle in the first fight.


I think Devon gets spanked in a rematch. Now I'm actually hoping that's Maidana's next bout.

Do you really think that the Maidana under Roberto Garcia is the same who lost to Khan and Alexander? I sincerely doubt it. He is more polished, more well schooled and more awkward now. He was very crude back then. You really think that the same Maidana who lost easily to Alexander gave hell to Floyd and beat the **** out of Broner? C'mon... The difference is obvious between the two version.
Roberto Garcia and Maidana are just perfectly match to each other and you can see the result.

I'm glad that he will continue boxing btw. He is a fun fighter. I'm curious if he can do 147 ever or he will come back in a higher weight class.

Madiana vs Garcia would be interesting. Danny Garcia is a very good counterpuncher so Maidana's style should be good for him, however Maidana is really awkward lately which is a help for him against every fighter.

Maidana vs Thurman: Pick 'em... Thurman has the skill and speed edge but he really doesn't like when he is pressured and Maidana is at his best when he can pressure his opponent. If Thurman fight a fight like he did last time against Collazo, then Maidana catches him and KO him, if Thurman fights more agile and more active he can KO Maidana. As I said, it's a pick 'em.

Maidana vs Porter: Where can I sign? Probably one of the most entertaining fights in boxing right now. Some can say that they are both dirty a little but I like rough fighters so I'm all for this fight.
