I used to think that too, about the punching power but I think Brook, at the world level, hits just as hard. In terms of strength, I think Brook is stronger, he is one of the most physically imposing welterweights out there. I don't think Thurman is, again, at the world level. He can intimidate mediocre fighters but I don't think he has the strength to push back too many top welters.

Thurman may have been overhyped but he's still a talented top level fighter. Brook imo is suffering the same hype treatment that Thurman had before, won't be soon until he's getting slagged off too.
