....Even if Wlad has the skill to Unify it's going to take a while. After he beats Byrd where will he go to start the process? Rahman is tied up with Maskaev and if he wins then it's back to Toney. Sergei just beat up Brewster but apparently they have a rematch clause. Isn't Valuev looking to fight stiffs for a while? Wlad won't even get a chance to Unify until late into next year at the earliest. I think Spinxjinx brought up this same problem in another thread.

In the history of this sport, only one man has ever won each belt one by one. Some say he was a force of nature, others say he was simply a maddman. I call him......IRON MIKE TYSON.

And his name was Ali! If you wanted the belt you didnt have to look far.If you beat Ali, that was it. No other belts (if there were any) were unheard of and I as a fan am sick and tired of the bull#^%&*&&( going on in boxing with all these belts. Tell me what you think! The Coagulator
I am completely with you in sentiment. Will there ever be a unified champ again? Absolutely....there will need to be for the sport to survive.

          Who will it be?

No clue at this moment; but I'll bet he's from Europe.

Iron Mike should come out of retirement. He would unify the belts again. I belive in him, if Big george can win a prize fight at age 45...so could Iron Mike.

Exsposed by Rahman? Toney was outta shape, its obvious to any un-bias observer that an inshape Toney would beat Rahman down. Many thought Toney won, plus he is 37 years old. If u think Liakochivh can beat Toney than your crazy.

roflmao. are you insane? toney has no power at heavy. he couldnt even budge rahman who has a weak chin. toney showed he cant be a big heavy with power. wlad,,,peter,,,serge,,and a couple others would own him

what does toney have? inside punching and counterpunchging, liakhovich is not dominick guinn he wont stay inside and fight toney, ir rahman hurt toney wit the right hand wich only like 3 were effective then imangine what liakhovich will do, not to mention liakhovixh has a good chin plus tonyes punches arent very powerfull. My point is that Toney and Rahman are not the future of this division and people sould not hype them up cause its pointless...
