Mediocre boxer Kimbo Slice recently knocked out MMA legend Ken Shamrock in the octagon in a grudge match.

Ken Shamrock is 51 years old and has lost 11 of his last 15 fights, many of which are "grudge match" throwaways/dives. He's short on cash.

Kimbo has been in MMA (2007 debut) longer than boxing (2011 debut). He is 5-2 as an MMA fighter and 7-0 as a boxer and considered a joke in both sports.

Kimbo Slice is a boxer and not even a good one. He knocks these mma guys cold using nothing but legal boxing blows. This girl who is supposed to ragdoll Mayweather has been successful fighting other women. She has never defeated a man. Mayweather would knock her out before she could blink. Look at Myweather's huge muscular chest and shoulders. No 130 woman or man is going to ragdoll him. Powerful Mosley couldn't push him around in the clinches. Mayweather is a bad man in or out of the ring but he just made over 200million his last fight so he won't waste his time on mma bull****.

Not sure if serious...you must realize the man stands 5'7 tall and is 10 stone weight. Nothing about him could be described as huge.

To put it into perspective he wouldn't be big enough to get into a schoolboy rugby team, he'd be a mascot. These boxers we watch are actually little people for the most part.

I don't know if he could beat Rousey but what I would say is that he has been trained to fight standing upright, how is he going to land punches at someone coming in at waist height or lower?

Women fighting is a joke, I'm sorry but it needs to be said. I mean, even if Ronda is a 'great' (using that term loosely) fighter, who the hell is she beating? Why does she deserve Fighter of the Year over guys like Mayweather, Crawford, GGG, McGregor, Jon Jones, ect.? Then again, this was the same award ceremony that honored Bruce Jenner.....for what exactly?

On another note, I think they need to separate the award into two; Best Boxer and Best Mixed Martial Artist. Two different sports.

Rousey is a good fighter, but she is beating up women who have no business in the same ring as her. The level of competition is dreadful. If an MMA fighter was winning fighter of the year, it should have been McGregor - this guy has put UFC back on the map when it was declining and just knocked out a very solid opponent.

Disagree. Rousey has fought some good female fighters, even some where she was an underdog. Tate and Zingano were good fighters too. Don't have any problem with Rousey getting the award.

At least she doesn't stink out the joint like Mayweather. McGregor would have been a good shout, but his fight wth Chad Mendes came too late for him.
