After analyzing what happened last Saturday in Acapulco, the World Boxing Council has determined in coordination with FECOMBOX, to declare the bout between Mariana "La Barbie" Juarez and Lorena Taborda a "No Contest."

Twenty official rings certified by the WBC scored the fight by tape. And in spite of there being an acknowledged and enormous difference of watching a fight live at ringside, as opposed to seeing it on TV, the results were unanimous and the conclusion was to declare the match a “No Contest” as the scorecards of two judges are unacceptable.

maybe the wbc paid off the judges but the other guy paid them off even more so the wbc is laying down the law (hey only we're allowed to do that!)

Good move by wbc...3/4 months suspension would have been better...maybe some of the other gutless "world" organizations should follow suit & state commissions 2 starting w/NV....I think the Argentine dhould have been declared the winner, outright...

Lets not go sucking the WBC"s **** so quick. They do plenty of ****ed up **** still lets be real. The only good alphabet group is a defunct alphabet group.
