I hate these articles pertaining to MMA and Rhonda Rousey. Sure she's a beast of a chick, but to mock boxing, when MMA is a joke 90% of the time.

Also, I find it ironic that the media as well as 90% of the boxingscene commenters always take hits at Floyd beating up women, so let's perpetuate the issue by stating that Rhonda Rousey and him should fight, and she would beat him..........******ity in this world really amazes me sometimes

They're basically Mocking Boxing In General when they do this and then you have so called boxing fans who co-sign this.

Maybe she should focus on that Brazilian Girl she is fighting next who could be her toughest opponent so far or fight Cyborg! She is good...at submissions but that is all.

Sometimes boxing deserves to be mocked, same with MMA.

When boxing guys think an off balance featherfisted welterwieght point-boxing slicksta would be even a minor challenge for someone who dedicates their life to throwing people on the ground (woman, child, grandparent or otherwise) is one of those moments.

I mean it's common sense. Yes with some training he could put up a fight but with his current style LOL. There's a reason MMA fighters don't fight like that.

In a boxing ring its obvious Floyd destroys her, in the octogon it would be an easy single leg takedown and submission for Rousey.

In a boxing match she stands no chance. Floyd by KO..yes I said by KO.
In an MMA fight Rousey takes him down and wins by SUB. She still needs to be careful not to get caught though. Floyd has proven he still has great movement and his counters are still top shelf. One counter from Floyd with those tiny little mitts they wear and it'll be over pretty quick.

She wont fight Cyborg but she wants to fight a man? dang UFC trying to make $ off boxing. If I were Floyd Id file a defamation lawsuit against UFC, even if it had no merit at least itd shut them up...

Sad thing is, she try's to act like some activist for "woman abuse" when bringing Floyd up.....and of course they eat it up. Yet she supports a convicted rapist and abuser of woman, in Mike Tyson lol...UFC using Floyds name to try and promote their own $100,000 fighters, sad........Bones Jones, Rousey, White, McGregor.....lol fvuckers have to use Floyd to promote their own garbage ass fights.

Like many stated, how about Rousey beat Cyborg...same weight as Floyd last time I checked.

.Rousey and White are using Floyd's name to hype their products, in the same way RC Cola may use advertisements comparing themselves to Coke and Pepsi. No biggie.
.I am not sure where all this "Street Fight(er)" stuff is coming from. As if UFC produces Ken and Ryu whereas boxing just produces normal humans.
-In a street fight, ANYTHING goes. You tackling a guy to the ground may hurt him, but you would also be dropping your own hands and knees on the concrete just attempting it. He also is able to use anything he can get his hands on to win, not just technique. Imagine trying to arm bar a standing man in an alley.
-Most prime boxers would stand a better chance than most give them credit for. I have flipped by UFC fights a few times and seem some of their best get knocked out by a "striker". And I didn't see Zlatan Ibrahimovi***263;, I just saw guys with below average boxing technique. Would a boxer struggle with kicks and take downs? Absolutely. In the same way MMA fighters would struggle with the power, accuracy, and movement of most pro boxers. The whole premise of my dragon style is greater than your tiger style is nonsense. Certain fighters are better than others. And sometimes the better fighter does not win.

And I see nothing wrong with Dana White's approach. I don't have the official numbers, but MayPac possibly made more money than UFC has made in the last 5-8 years. And Canelo-Cotto is on the horizon. And boxing is now back on free tv in a big way. White has to use propaganda to keep the momentum he has been building all this time. He wants boxing to be marginalized, and it seems half of the posters on nsb do as well.

Even in the octagon Mayweather knocks Roussey out upon connecting. Only chance she has is a submission and not likely. World class athletes, man vs woman, man wins in this instance.
