After his technical decision victory Saturday over Hank Lundy, Mauricio Herrera (22-5, 7KOs) stated that he wanted a big fight next. In an article by BoxingScene.com's Francisco Salazar, his targets are Lucas Matthysse and a rematch with Ruslan Provodnikov (24-4, 17KOs) whom he defeated via unanimous decision in 2011.

When told of Herrera's comments, Provodnikov said that he wants a rematch with Matthysse, who he lost a close decision to in a 2015 "Fight of the Year" candidate. The April 18th fight was an all out brawl in which both fighters received heavy damage.

Provodnikov is very entertaining, but he is one dimensional and if you can avoid the bull rush and hooks, you can make it that much easier
