    Nothing but respect to Rigo for taking this fight. But it is what it is- am I going to give Lomachenko less credit for winning because he's the bigger man? No, it's not his fault he's the bigger man.

    ***** Waits for the "if Rigo was 10lbs heavier he would win easily, he's so much more skilled!!!*** threads and posts after the fight.

        Loma will win if it happens. He's too good to lose to a smaller man, even one as good as Rigo.

            Gamboa is reckless, Rigo is not.

            Gamboa was outboxing Crawford comfortably and then did what he always does, tried to have a war. Rigondeaux isn't going to do that.

              lomachenko = a hero

              he has only been in the professional game for close to 2 years now and he's already fought guys like salido, gary russell jr, and piriyapinyo. and now he's going to fight rigondeaux. nothing but respect.

              he's not waiting until rigo gets old, he's not making any lame excuses and putting any ridiculous road blocks. he's just all warrior and a real fighter.
              The real hero is Rigo. Loma was to much of a puzzy to meet Rigo halfway so Rigo willing to give Loma his size advantage and fight Loma in his own weight class just to make the fight. WARRR RIGO

                Rigo's smaller but that won't be a deciding factor, since
                1: He has AT LEAST enough power to keep Loma honest so don't imagine it like Loma would just walk through him.
                2: Loma is higher than him but I think the reach is a more important factor and Rigo has the reach advantage by 8 inches.

                So I'm not worried about the size factor. Rigo will win this via UD or if Loma's chin is weak than maybe with TKO.
                Lomachenko is very talented and etc... I see it, but I see Rigo as an even better fighter than him.
                Rigo was floored couple of time, but I never seen hi seriously hurt, most of those were because he got off balance or from a clinch like Donaire or one time the Japanese guy. These are not perfect excuses because he was floored, yes, I just point out that he was never seriously hurt and I also think that Loma isn't the biggest puncher he faces so far. So that won't be a big factor imo...

                  I can see all the excuses now......

                  Who wants to bet that RiGOD becomes "the overhyped-old man Cuban" after the fight by even his most diehard fans? SMH
                  Why not STFU and stop acting like a b!tch. You should be praising Rigo instead of crying and moaning. Loma was to much of a puzzy to meet Rigo half way so Rigo stepped up like a real champ to give us a great fight cause Loma wasn't going to do it hiding in his weight class so Rigo had to go up and come after him. Rigo deserves mad respect if your a real boxing fan.

                    These are two of my very favorite fighters. I love skills and they have a preponderance of it. I lean towards the amazing big man beating the amazing little man but who knows. I'll just enjoy this one.
