***** thing about so-called hardcore fans is that theyre predictable. Runners and clinchers are automatically praised to high heavens when in reality they're one-dimensional. They lacked inside skills, yet they're slick doe. And the guy who does have inside skills get zero credit. There are even cases where common sense is all it takes like when a short guy is chasing a runner, then the come-forward label begins. How tf would he get his shots without closing in?

Sometimes we take weird internet norms for granted. Imagine a guy in real life, on an elevator or at a bar or something getting all pissed telling you how he obsessively savors and rewatches the most boring sports events he can find on purpose to prove he's a hardcore, not a casual!
These "Hardcore Fans" don't want to face the truth, it's painful to see them suffer like this.
Just look at the first page, they go on justifying their pain, calling anyone who enjoys a entertaining fight a "casual".

As for Canelo, you got my point.

Casual fans only like the violence of boxing, they do not care about any technical skill. Same way casual hoops fans love the dunk contest but would never watch a Spurs game or watch a game with Vince Carter playing instead of 2 great teams because Vince might unleash a double 360 tomahawk dunk.
We all love a Matthysse/Provodnikov or Gatti/Ward. But that doesn't mean we all want to see 2 bums **** it out on BKB.
What we cant understand is why boxing skills are so hated by "boxing" fans.
Maybe you and others are not so much "boxing" fans but "fighting" or "violence" fans. Nothing wrong with that.

As for Canelo, he's not a pressure fighter. It's ******ed to see you and all the other haters post and talk about "style". "You know Floyd fight that way, Manny made it boring"
So Canelo is NOT a presssure fighter, he was never going to beat Floyd that night with the style he fights in. Was he supposed to turn into Margarito and pressure Floyd relentlessly? (something he's never done before)

Why you and your gang of ghouls keep ramming it down everyone's throat that using skills and playing it safe to win is somehow entertaining. I understand it guarantees a win, so why take a chance when the fight is in the bag but, it's not entertaining and you guys keep suggesting it is. It's like a team being up 13-0 and then running on every down and punting. In no realm is that entertaining, stop pretending otherwise.
If the guy losing will not "risk winning", why should the guy winning "risk losing"?
As for entertaining, the only time I am not entertained in a fight is when one or both guys doesn't do what it takes to win. I have never seen a boring fight where the guy losing goes balls out to win.
