While these Phony"hardcore boxing fans" have their heads so far up their a55e5, they act like their ***** don't stink out arenas.

These "Hardcore Fans" that don't stick up for the sport are to blame. We have "fans" bending over letting promoters/fighters take them for their money for stale fights.
Practically handing over their money, siding with the fighter's excuse for failing to entertain, and not sticking up for the boxing fans.

They keep lying to themselves, saying they don't get bored.

It's like they want people to know they enjoy watching paint dry, acting like there's some incredible stuff going on behind the scenes that will give them credibility.

When in reality, they're just sitting there, watching paint dry, wasting time, missing out on what the causals are doing, having fun .

You'll never catch the casual fan doing some dumb ***** like that, they're not that ******.

Stop lying to yourself, all these fights fit within two extremes
      (Boring--------------------watchable----------------------Entertaining)

Where only about 5% of Phony "Hardcore Fans" would say a boring fight entertained them for what ever reason the use to justify it.

Now because the fake fans are not looking for the viewers best interest in "pure entertainment", fights have tipped over to the Boring side because they let fighters get away with it.

These fighters are now using the excuse of not getting hit, even if it cost them the fight. Fights on the line, and they wait it out, if the opportunity doesn't come as a gift-box birthday present, they're ok with it, even if it means loosing the fight.

As a result there's no passion from these fighters. They just come and take the pay check, no entertainment, just a dry transaction, taking you for your money and time.

More butthurtedness from a Mayweather hater... smh...it never ends.

      • Tell me again why can't we have Lara vs Mayweather? Or Thurman vs Mayweather?

        • floyd sacrifices a lot of his offense because he is so afraid of getting hit. Look at Ali. He has great defense but he likes to hurt his opponent more. This is a hurt business but with Floyd representing boxing, this is becoming more of showbizness

problem is these "boxers" sacrificed a lot of the hitting part coz they dont want to get hit.

It's a hurt business and if you dont want to hurt your opponents then boxing is not for you.

            • another **** thread by a complete **** poster, as usual not a reasonable sentence let alone a good point.

what i love most is the arrogance to sit there and write people are lying when they say they enjoy fights that he doesnt. i will never understand these people who just cant accept that there are people different from them, with different opinions than their own.

some people like watching golf, to me its the most boring **** in the world but im not going to sit around and say they are all lying to themselves and just trying to be fancy or something. for some reason i cant understand people really are entertained by it, i can accept that. but people like TS just cant accept that something that is boring to him could possibly be entertaining to someone else.

it goes beyond being narrow minded. kind of guy who is mad about anyone doing their own thing i bet, sitting around judging others acting as if he alone has it all figured out. claiming others think THEIR **** dont stink.

just watch what you like to watch and let others do the same, kiddo.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but deep down we are all fight fans and many of us can appreciate good defensive skills like slipping punches/head movement, parry/blocking, counterpunching, etc.

It's just that other illegal "defensive tactics" are so often abused nowadays and hardly EVER penalized.. like excessive clinching/excessive clamping of an opponent's arm(s), hit & immediately clinch + rabbit punch, turning your back (literally) during an exchange, etc. These "tactics" are becoming more and more acceptable and common nowadays because nobody ever penalizes the "cashcows" for it and it seems to be starting to change the fundamentals of the sport.. for the worse.
                This.

When I first watched a live boxing match as a kid, what I remembered most from that night was a guy who stayed on the ropes, got rained punches, not one connecting because he just slipped, bobbed, weave. I thought that was amazing. But not once did he hold, or push the other guy in the head/face.

But from the many other matches I saw it was the knock down and knock out punches that stay in memory. The sound of leather hitting the face or body made an impression as well.

                Enforce the rules.

Mayweather has brittle hands and is almost 40 years old which is why he fights the way he does. WTF are these younger fighters excuses for all the backfoot fighting and not letting their hands go?
maybe they dont want to get hit and take unecassary punnishment to please casual fans

Boxing existed long before Floyd Mayweather was born and it will continue to exist long after he is long dead and turned to dust. Those who tend to think everything in the sport and everyone's views are based on their feelings towards Floyd are the biggest fools and the most casual fans of all. Grow the **** up.
