Last time I checked Ward beat more elite fighters so far than the two other combined. So you can have as much bias as you want, facts actually show that Ward is willing to take risk, out of that three he proved that the most and that is not some kind of preconception but an actual fact.

    sorry
GGG and Kovalev both left their homeland to fight in a foreign country, without even knowing how to speak the lingo. Ward won't fight outside his homeland, USA.

Kovalev fought Pascal in Montreal and was prepared to fight Stevenson there too. Ward wouldn't go to Montreal for Bute and he turned down a fight with Stevenson, at 168, in Oakland, because Stevenson wanted him to sign a rematch clause for a return match in Montreal if Ward won the Oakland fight.

GGG was ready to fight Froch anywhere in the UK. Ward wasn't. Ward also turned down a big money offer to rematch Kessler in Denmark.

I have no problem with Ward remaining at 168 if he can still make the weight, but the evidence is clear - Andre is a risk-averse fighter and Kovalev would be a huge risk for him, so I don't believe he will take that fight.

So Kovalev promoter tells you out her mouth that she and roc nation both wanna make the fight for next year and you say andre don't want the fight.

Fighters who rely on KO's or who have a high KO ratio can more easily go someone else's backyard and fight without a problem , it's only logical . Ward power does not allow him to comfortably fight in someone else's backyard knowing that his fists will be refs . Since Ward is more of a crafty boxer who relies on his footwork , technique and work ethic , he SHOULD be more careful about where he fights because frankly after the Dirrell/Froch dabacle many fighters hyper-sensitive to the dangers of fighting in another mans backyard . Fortunately for Ward , he beats everyone handily and therefore there should be no controversy about where he fights . Now we can say he's less of a risk taker = yes , but in my book it's a smart risk not to take considering the stain Froch left boxing !
