... Bradley, Cotto or even Algieri are more entertaining than Khan, Berto...

... not to mention Lara -- who would take zero punches from Floyd...

Aside from boxing I'm a big fan of Tennis. I respect the structure of the sport and how its based on elimination until the 2 best players in the worlds are on the court facing one another. Fans of Novak Djokovic would never accept him playing anyone other than the best in his final match. Same goes for any other tennis champ.

This is part of what's hurting boxing. The fact that certain fighters can pick and choose opponents based on their agenda.
It's his last fight and he has nothing to prove. His career is over and this is the farewell. Get over it.

So you're happy with Floyd ending his iconic career by fighting the likes of an Andre Berto? For that he should call it quits now with a win over Pac. I'd rather be known for ending my career with a win over Pac rather than a win over Andre Berto.

For what? Why would he even entertain moving up? Mayweather has nothing to prove so...so he can fight whomever he so pleases for the go-away. It being on CBS is a bonus. Maybe GGG should fight Lara.

Yes, I am. He just fought Pacquiao. Nothing left to prove in his career. So whoever he fights in his farewell is fine by me. Just give it to me on free TV and/or with a good undercard.

Well, Khan, Berto, and Mayfield aren't big and strong at all

That Description best fits Keith Thurman.
It fits Brook and Porter. Thurman isn't that much bigger, if at all, than Berto or Khan.

... The guy doesn't retire, as everybody knows...

... Lara is likely to win against Floyd and GGG as well...

No, we don't know. This is the last fight in his contract so maybe he retires, maybe he doesn't but at this point he has nothing to prove either way. Lara should fight GGG. That guy could use some additions to his resume.

Last fight or not, I just cant wrap my head around any fight fan who prefers his favorite fighter to be coddled rather than pushed and challenged.
