I've heard in Vegas there is zero buzz about the Mayweather-Berto fight, it's all about the opening weekend for the NFL. Hardly any handle at the sportsbooks, I will be surprised if this fight does 500k buys and a gate of $5 million. Of course, they will never admit the PPV figures, but you can't fake the gate numbers.

Great fight scheduled this September. Nice to see Floyd again. I feel priveleged to weight for such a great fight.

before the Berto fight he said something along the lines of 'If y'all want me to fight a 50th fight why can't I take a easy 49th fight first?'

At the time I dismissed it because I really thought he was joking about fighting Berto or Mayfield but I guess he will fight a 50th after all.

Also that bald guy who does interviews for showtime kinda gave it away where he brought up that in a fighter meeting Floyd said 'he has a right to change his mind' about coming back from retirement. Floyd just smiled and had that look like 'damn you got me'.

He has referenced the possibility of a 50th fight in at least one interview I've seen, specifically acknowledging the timing of the new MGM arena opening before downplaying the chance he'd take a fight after 49. Frankly I am surprised this wasn't more talked about.
But then on the other hand, I also believe Roger's health will negatively affect Mayweather's desire to return.
