I've heard in Vegas there is zero buzz about the Mayweather-Berto fight, it's all about the opening weekend for the NFL. Hardly any handle at the sportsbooks, I will be surprised if this fight does 500k buys and a gate of $5 million. Of course, they will never admit the PPV figures, but you can't fake the gate numbers.Comment

pacquiao fans won't shut up about PPV numbers and ticket sold lol. they got nothing else to talk about. all that **** was supposed to be irrelevant when negotiations were going on with pacquiao right? bitter females.Comment

before the Berto fight he said something along the lines of 'If y'all want me to fight a 50th fight why can't I take a easy 49th fight first?'
At the time I dismissed it because I really thought he was joking about fighting Berto or Mayfield but I guess he will fight a 50th after all.
Also that bald guy who does interviews for showtime kinda gave it away where he brought up that in a fighter meeting Floyd said 'he has a right to change his mind' about coming back from retirement. Floyd just smiled and had that look like 'damn you got me'.
*was gonna post this in another thread but it got deleted when i tried to post.Comment

He has referenced the possibility of a 50th fight in at least one interview I've seen, specifically acknowledging the timing of the new MGM arena opening before downplaying the chance he'd take a fight after 49. Frankly I am surprised this wasn't more talked about.before the Berto fight he said something along the lines of 'If y'all want me to fight a 50th fight why can't I take a easy 49th fight first?'

But then on the other hand, I also believe Roger's health will negatively affect Mayweather's desire to return.Comment
