On one hand I think, I can watch Floyd outpoint and maybe even knockout a no hoper for free this and usually I usually pay upward of $70 for it so this is an improvement.
On the other I just think how bad Berto is lol.
I mean he's just terrible. I wouldn't bet on him if the odds were 50-1. I think Salka had a better chance of upsetting Garcia
Berto has good speed but throws one punch at a time, he has decent power but nothing that Floyd can't handle, he has no footwork, he's constantly off balance, his defense is awful and his chin is terrible. Josesito was outboxing him until that terrible stoppage. He's just so bad, he doesn't even belong discussing a Mayweather fight let alone fighting him.
Who knows, this might be a more entertaining Mayweather fight than usual. I can see a more offensive Mayweather than we are used to and a demolition of Berto similar to Mayweather-Gatti due to the difference in skill.
Floyd should just fight Berto AND Khan in the same night. Berto gets odd rounds and Khan gets even rounds. Fights #49 AND #50 on the same damn night. If he's still ready to go, fight Brook for #51 ON THE SAME NIGHT.
But manny doesn't have anything left to prove either. He's the clear second best of the era (nothing wrong with that) if he wants to fight an "easy" opponent then who cares. Unless It's on ppv
Manny wont fight a easy guy. Hes gonna fight a hungry young fighter.
I think youre missing the point. Floyds nut sack has your vision a little blurred it seems. What PB is trying to explain to you is If Floyd is the best you fight the best out there. Last fight or not. In Boxing there is a TRUE saying. "You are only good as your last fight" g00gle that quote. Every boxer knows it. Real boxing fans understand this.
So Muhammed Ali is only as good as his last fight?
Oscar De La Hoya is only as good as his last fight?
You sound dumb trying to school somebody when you're obviously remedial.
