The headline sounded kind of asinine (intentionally?), but having read the article, it was just an out-of-context sentence from a typically classy Ward statement.
Nice tip of the hat, dude.Comment

You are the prime example of what boxing fans have become. Idiots with keyboards....saw the ******ity you posted about the Hopkins fight. Hopkins saying he got his @ss whipped wasn't good enough...Comment

lolwat. Ward is mega diva level. How many fights did he let go because the money wasn't right? How many times did he try and get out of his contract with his promoter? How much did Ward whine about how much his opponent at the time, Edwin, was making? Ward is diva level.Comment

Let me tell yall something about Carl Froch - i have not seen a fighter get the most out of his limited skill set as Carl Froch - not the fastest nor quickest fighter, not the best jab, fought rather clumsy at times, but you better pack a bag lunch because if you say he can't - he will ! The only fights he turned down was GGG and Ward as his last fight - it was either them or retirement, at 38 years old - ride on player - you've earned it !Comment

This. Froch wasn´t very skilled, but he was tough as nails and simply refused to lose. There are more than one way to be great in the ring.Comment

No I was being serious. It is good to know though that people on here actually don't think Andre Ward is Carl Froch's biological father.Comment
