I would argue that Johnny English belongs on that list.....

Andre Ward couldn't sell 8000 tickets in Oakland.

Let's not underestimate that 80,000 is a remarkable attendance for boxing, regardless of where it was held.

I agree, and I don't care how much the ticket prices were in the nose bleeds

Tougher than a $2 steak, underrated skills, and the kind of ****y swagger you can only get away with as a pasty Brit. Froch is one of my favorites. Good time to call it a day.

Hatton was Tzyu's last fight, but to say that "Hatton retired Tzyu" is a bit much.

Funny thing is...I really wanted Hatton to be great, but I thought he got exposed by Collazo. After that, I knew it was a matter of time before he got knocked out bad...and then it happened twice.

With Froch, I started out disliking him, but he won me over with his fighting spirit. He seemed fearless. There was more substance to his fighting spirit. He had intangibles that Hatton lacked.

Congratulations to you Froch for an outstanding career. You were not the best in your era in your weight class, but you were a top notch competitor and a world class fighter, who should be proud of your accomplishments.

He absolutely retired Tszyu. Do you think for a second that his career would have ended after that fight had he beaten Hatton? Not a chance in hell.

And, no, Collazo didn't expose anyone, Luis is a far better fighter than he gets credit for. Proof is how he was really close to beating Thurman last weekend 9 years after Hatton came up from Jr. WW to beat him soundly. Hatton even knocked him down when Thurman couldn't.

The thing is that Hatton's style was never going to allow him to last forever and he was never going to beat Floyd with a ref like Cortez in Floyd's pocket.
