Last UFC event was GREAT! I dont blame you man.In the US it is clear even by the UFC Prelim Ratings that Boxing has fallen behind so many sports so they have work to do as far as building that fanbase back up. I will be honest and I'm a huge boxing fan but during the Tony Harrison vs Willie Nelson fight and during some of the Thurman vs Collazo fight I was switching back and forth to the UFC

Well there's this little thing we have in business called "proof of concept". Quite fascinating really. Maybe you should google it..Comment

Quality of opponent/fight, has nothing to do with the UFC finally having a successful event after a string of flops...but I digress.
Look at the numbers for Thurman-Guerrero and compare those to the numbers of Thurman-Collazo, it's not hard to see what's going on.Comment

Ouch.@nicoleduva: ESPN paid $500k for Arreola-Stiverne last year. 940,000 viewers. PBC paid just Thurman & Collazo $2 mil. 799,000 viewers.
@NashvilleBoxing: @steveucnlive @MrGAM3R49 @3bmboxing Old FNF budget was around $60k, Thurman's $1.5m purse alone was 25x that amount
From 3 milllion peak to 1 million, those numbers were very poor looking at what most Journalists are saying. Behind wimbledon, nascar and ufc.
That's all I gotta say.
This will go ignored.Comment

Still waiting for one of the PBC defenders to tell me what's going to turn this mess around? They can't defend the numbers because they are just bad and they have been trending down each month since it debuted so their fall back excuse is Haymon investors got deep pockets and are in for the long run. But at some point the loses get to great and any smart business man will cut bait from a sinking ship. But what will change in another 6 months or a year? Please tell us what is going to change the declining ratings around? I mean you got bad ratings, bad attendance, hard core boxing fans complaining about the product and the mismatches, huge lawsuits against haymon and his investors, all while casual fans could care less about PBC. Please tell me what is the change that will turn all this around? I am following the trend and I see this just getting worse not better.Comment

It looks as if a bunch of drunk European soccer fans stopped by to watch a fight. And what other sport do the Irish have to get excited about, curling? But I guess you may have a point. Because what I witnessed in AC was not passion, it more so alcohol mixed in with a$$holelism.Passion! Something Boxing Fans Have Lost in America because we're worried about Ratings, PPV Numbers and Fighters Purse Numbers instead of enjoy fights
Let me know when Boxing have Crowds like this Celebrating after their guy has a big win, this will never happen for an American Fighter In America!:
McGregor had Vegas Rocking! I thought he was fighting in Ireland on Saturday that is how amazing the atmosphere was for McGregor in VegasComment

You can't explain the numbers to people who are ignorant to the concept of a startup business. The ratings are dependent upon him building stars out of a couple of the 200 plus fighters in his stable which takes more than 4 months.Still waiting for one of the PBC defenders to tell me what's going to turn this mess around?
