Whatever TV outlet(s) that get(s) the PBC content deal, if the market is proven, will not have to deal with the overhang of loosing out to 10-14 shows being on PPV, bringing more value to the table for their TV deal.
Thurman-Collazo was positioned on a platform that would basically be a UFC PPV telecast in PBC's eyes (the biggest stage that PBC has to offer is primetime NBC/CBS, followed by Showtime Championship Boxing and the primtetime PBC shows on ESPN).
Imagine what the Fox content fee could've been if the UFC decided to just do away with PPV, putting all of their biggest fights on free TV. lol
