The best matchups haven't been tapped into yet. Imagine a tourney-Rigo, Frampton, Santa Cruz and whoever else. The WW tourney when Floyd/Manny go.

Like I asked before should they build to fights or should they just blow their load early?

It just seems to early to tell.

No matter what Haymon does, he will never be in total control. There will always be competitors, just as there are in every industry. What Haymon is doing is no different than what Wal Mart, Comcast, Home Depot, Lowes and every other large corporation has done over the years. That is to capture as much of the market as you can.

Top Rank and Golden Boy are filing lawsuits complaining that Haymon is trying to create a monopoly and drive other promoters out of business. My question is what is wrong with that? ? When Lowe's and Home Depot came along, they drove thousands or even hundreds of thousands of small hardware stores out of business. When Super WalMart opened, it drove numerous small retailers out of business. None of these small stores or companies sued or even had the right to sue simply because they couldn't compete.

Yet, in boxing, promoters think they have the right to sue a company that is outperforming them, and gullible fans thinks this makes sense.

The truth is that if Al Haymon were white, these message board would not be full of hate filled comments. Fans would be applauding him for making boxing more competitive and forcing promoters and networks to produce better fights. Instead, fans and people in the industry attack him for doing the same thing that companies have been doing in this capitalistic society of ours for the last 200 years.

I can see Wilder vs Aerola on PBC, but after that they're talking about Wilder vs Povetkin and then maybe Klitchko. Surely those fights wont happen on PBC.

just stop this has nothing to do with race. Fans don't like Haymon or PBC because the quality is crap and many feel he is the stop gap to many of the fights fans want to see. SO most fans just hate all the mismatches. Other promoters don't like him because he is taking food off their table and side stepping laws to do it. Ali Act says you can't act as both Promoter and Manager. Something we all know he is doing with the phony "adviser" role that he refuses to clarify. The reason he doesn't make appearances and do interviews is not because he's shy but because he doesn't want to be forced to answer these type of questions. Just like the reason he refuses to grant press passes to many boxing writers who have questioned Haymon's tactics is he doesn't want these guys asking these questions in a press conference before or after his fights. These are the reasons fans and promoters don't like him not because of his race.

Why not? Povetkin has no deal and Wlad's HBO deal would be finished.

Obviously a lot depends on what happens 9/26, which is my point to you-there is so much that could happen its hard to know where this is going yet. I think Haymon could easily put a povetkin/wilder fight on NBC in primetime. He dominates, NBC may pay him a ton to put the fight on network TV.

Floyd could go to PBC. PBC could win a purse bid for a great fight. Again, we just do not know right now.

I see nothing but promos for the next PBC show and depending what area you live in and what cable provider instead of PBC promos you get local tv promos provided by the cable provider. So if you live in Dakota, Washington you get to see a tv add for Mike's Used TV appliances in Dakota. And you can call the lawsuit a shakedown all you want but we talking 2 separate 100 Mil plus lawsuits on top of the millions they are already losing each event they put on. That has to be a major concern for any investors
Hershey, Procter&Gamble, Honda, TGIFridays, AllState Insurance, and a host of other outfits have been broadcasting their commercials on the PBC broadcasts (it's seemingly gotten to the point that PBC doesn't have many slots free to run those filler commercials that basically were all over the first two events.

You've obviously not watched any of the last 5 or 6 PBC shows, lol. Maybe you should try watching one before talking mess.

Biggest problem with PBC: They call themselves "Premier Boxing Champions" but all the premier fighters are with other promoters/networks.

Less money at the gate than Pacquiao-Bradley; revise the number up to 600k. ok, then.
