You are comparing a world-class, state of the art, Gold Medalist athlete to a basketball reject promoters scrubbed off the carpet and turned into a boxer so that guys like you have someone to cheer for. LOL.
There is no way in hell clumsy caveman brawler Wilder can endure Povetkin's slick inside combinations. My God, gramps, it's 2015, the world exists.
You don't pay a basketball reject to beat on rural farmers and call him "the best of the best" anymore. We got laser-precision Russian superathletes now.
*d1ck slap*
LOL. Funny man. You are calling this middle-aged woman Sasha a "world-class, state of the art, athlete." The guy gasses by round 4. His arms are shorter than a T-Rex's. He's slower than s*** on his feet. Wlad beat him so bad, they had to make up stuff about DQing to save face.
Support for Wilder at this point can ONLY spell racism!
BUM...
SQUAD!
I'm white and I'm probably the biggest Wilder fan on this forum, but even I think Povetkin is an awkward fight. I still think Wilder can take him and vise versa, but Wilder is the one with physical advantages
I thought that you're only allowed one voluntary defence, before you have to face your mandatory. Why is wilder getting two in a row?
wilder was suppose to fight Bryant Jennings after he beat perez but instead Jennings fought wladimir. that left an open date for wilder so he fought Molina. povetkin & perez fought in a final eliminator. since the purse bid wasn't called until October wilder wants to get another defence in. the purse bid still goes in October or November so there really was no rules broken. If he didn't fight in September the purse bid would still have taken place in October. So Wilder wants to make some money...

This guy sucks..
Did you watch Wilder vs that 1 guy nobody's heard of (his last fight)? Both of them gassed oh... 30 seconds into the fight
What an embarrassing thing to watch, they tell American TV audiences that's the "heavyweight champion fighting the top challenger" without realizing how pitiful it makes the sport look, obviously 2 dudes who washed out of other sports due to bad cardio.

Maybe you missed the fight where he went twelve rounds with the at the time second best HW in the world and dominated him. Interesting. And surely you missed the fight where Sasha was going life and death with a cruiser weight?
Jennings gave Wlad 10X as tough a fight as little pot-bellied Sasha did. Sadly the boxing establishment was so butthurt that Jennings who started boxing in his 20's is a much better boxer than their beloved Sasha and immediately started to jerk off to Sasha's win over a stoned Mike Perez..
wtf when did wilder fight the second best heavyweight in the world? is that what some pbc announcers said? rofl
his biggest win is a dangerously ill version of a guy who went life and death with obese arreola
give up, lay down and admit the US heavyweight scene is dead, you can't become a superstar beating on farmers and drunks and ignoring olympic gold medallists like you could during the cold war
you can't get knocked down by a guy with a mullet and beer belly like ali did then be praised for your "amazing comeback win"
no nowadays you'd just get laughed at for taking a fight with a guy with a mullet and beer belly to begin with
welcome to the glorious future, no longer must we pretend potato farmer vs basketball washout is the "best of the best", boxing has been freed from US imperialism
We since you said it it must be true. To be honest I've seen Povetkin fight only a couple times. But from what I've seen he seems pretty ordinary to me. I know Wilder is not Klitz however they do have some of the same physical attributes. And against Klitz I didn't see that willingness to want to get inside. I saw a fighter that didn't like getting hit.
I got pretty much all of povetkin & wilder's fights. wilder has great one punch power which was displayed in the KOs of scott & liakhovich. He also looked good against stiverne. Povetkin has a lot of experience & since losing to klitschko he has got into much better shape with 3 solid knockouts of charr, takam & perez. povetkin has fought much better opposition without being in too many life & death brawls. I think it is going to be pretty tough for wilder to beat povetkin. Anything can happen when you got power like wilder so it isn't a gimme for sasha. I'm at 80/20 povetkin wins. I hope wilder doesn't overlook arreola if he ends up fighting him first. When wilder is pressured he has a habit of going straight back which could leave him vulnerable. Arreola may only be a B level fringe guy but he can be very dangerous especially when he goes on the attack. Wilder needs to shore up his defence.
