"Because hes not that good. Just being really honest there is nothing impressive about him. He looks very sloppy and clumsy and like hes trying to copy ali and failing. Wlad will beat him easily and nobody will pay attention to him anymore"

LOOOOL copy Ali?????His undefeated record says otherwise about his talent, he's Wlad toughest opponent in a long time and that's a fact.

He has a different metabolism and frame, he trains just as hard. It's nice to know you really know where your boxing priorities lie, "what guy looks most ripped man". I bet you were ALL over De La hoya in his prime?
If Fury looked even half as talented as a past it ******* fishnets ODLH this entire board would be creaming their pants over him.

I'm surprised at how Fury is received on Boxing Scene. David Haye was scheduled not once but twice. You all thought and majority still think David Haye would have Ko'd him. Now he's fighting Klitschko for the Lineal HW title(s). The Holy grail.

Where's his props? Froch gets it, GGG gets it. That fight anyone anywhere reputation. There seems to be zero respect for Fury on here apart from the few.

        Any thoughts?
Just speaking for myself here, but every time I've seen him fight he just looks kind of clumsy and awkward and not quick of hand nor foot. He just hasn't looked like all that and an ice cream sundae. His resume has a bunch of wins over guys I've never heard of but when I see them fight they don't look like much either.

So when he goes on some trash talking promotional rant, it just doesn't sound like anything other than one more post-Lewis sloppy heavyweight trying to aggrandize himself in order to grab a fat paycheck. Thanks, but I'll pass if it's ppv.

lol'd at some of the replies. I understand your 'clumsy' & 'Oaf' arguments but seriously what's not to like about Fury?. He'll fight anybody, anywhere, anytime his actions have proved it.

He's about to fight the no. 1 guy in the division. I don't want people to root for him vs Wlad I'm just saying he's deserves the respect of a Boxer who ducks nobody and wants the BEST. It's like people are upset he's fighting Wlad. Except for Wilder (WBC only reason why) this is the best fight out there.

I see no real disrespect, nothing more than usual and in fact more respect than usual for a Klitschko opponent.

Only the most ridiculous of boxing fans, usually the nutbags, fail to recognise Fury's consistent improvement and now elite package of qualities as a fighter. This does not include those that do acknowledge Fury's strengths and still think he loses.

Claiming David Haye or Wladimir Klitschko would knock him flat is nothing to be that shamed of anyway, you are talking about 2 boxers who hardly ever get hit or lose a round, have only ever really lost by flukes (except against each other) and otherwise completely destroyed every opponent they ever faced with the highest KO% of any boxers.

                ^I could live with that.

Fury may have improved a bit but he is still just about the least coordinated fighter that I have seen on the world stage since Carnerra.

Bull**** Rockin, you don't really believe that!

You either haven't seen Fury fight or your trolling the dude.

Fury is basically the modern era version of Muhammad Ali, just much taller, much heftier and a little bit harder to hit too even.

                    They are stylistically practically equivalent.

You cannot PRAISE Muhammad Ali's style and THEN go on to trash Fury's!!

Carnera! You can claim that Nikolay Valuev is the biggest oaf since Carnera but certainly not Fury!

You pretty much illustrated why he deserves little respect. He hasn't beaten anyone worth mentioning (you do realize he doesn't get credit for Haye because they didn't actually fight right?). His claim to fame was nearly losing in almost every fight (against cans) and pulling out a victory. Hardly a voucher for one's abilities. Now, he's a huge talker but still isn't doing anything worth mentioning.

Don't get me wrong, I DO like watching him fight and I'm glad he's developed a little, but let's not pretend he isn't an oafy big mouth with B-Level talent. You can like a guy without pretending he's a world beater.
