Guy legit acts like a chick trying to keep everyone in suspense(as if his fights are anything but suspenseful) by delaying the announcements of his fights... While it might be a smart marketing move, if he's going to call himself TBE, he should at the very least, give his opponents the PROPER TIME to actually train... what a joke this guy is...

Maybe by the end of July he'll announce his big bogus free CBS send off fight with Berto or who the **** cares....unless the name is Lara/GGG or at the very least a deserving welterweight (who is your damn mandatory floyd) Thurman... The big wait will turn out to be a big joke....
If you're in the hat, you're already likely in camp for a Fall fight anyway, so what's the problem? Kell Brook, my guess for the opponent, is already in camp prepping for a September/October fight. If you're foolish enough to wait to the formal announcement to try and begin getting fit, you're wasting everyone's time.

Guerrero was Floyd's mandatory out of prison, Canelo Alvarez had a handshake deal for the September fight, Maidana was fighting again within five months of the Broner fight and four months from the first fight (giving him enough time to physically rest, yet not enough time to really fall out of fitness), and Pacquiao had been thirsting for the fight for years. Porter fought in June and Thurman in July, yet Porter is already back in camp keeping fit, with Thurman likely shortly in the gym again too.

At Floyd's level, there's no patience for a fighter who's gonna need a 15-week camp to be ready. Keep yourself fit, be ready for a hard 8-week camp, and come ready to fight.

Does it matter who he fights? It's going to be a fixed glorified sparring session anyways. Circus show, even when he's lost he won because the it's fixed and he gets over payed for being the most underwhelming PPV fighter of ALL TIME.

Well thank you for agreeing that you couldn't be a piece of shlt on a ass crack.

Most camps are 10-12 weeks generally, so 8 weeks isn't terrible (if your'a fat **** who simply didn't come into camp fit, you're probably in for a rough go of things)

If Floyd fights in September it will be on CBS rather than PPV. After the historical buy rate for Pacquiao, Floyd doesn't want to be embarrassed by weak PPV numbers.
Floyd probably won't fight again on ppv unless its a big name opponent.

It'd be a great thing for boxing if someone like Kell capitalized on the exposure from fighting Floyd. He then proceeds to beat up the welterweight division. Bam we have a star.

Then later on down the road Kell Brook vs Errol Spence would be a big time fight
To be honest, Mayweather not fighting either makes things even more interesting going into that next generation of Welterweights. With a Platform like PBC you no longer need to be featured on Mayweather Card for Exposure.

Alot of you guys are morons lol

Fighters are in the gym all year round

Their training camp is only a few weeks, not "months"

the only damage done by announcing it less than 2 months is the promotion

Minimal promotion time seems to be the new style for Floyd in his last 2 or 3 recent fights
