Does anyone really care who he fights at this point? He fought and beat the best opponent possible and won in one boring defensive fight. After the world tuned in to watch that uneventful match I don't think he is in high demand right now

Yes he is annoying when he probably has known for weeks now who his opponent will be. Still any fighter who has a chance of being the chosen one should be keeping his weight down and staying in shape. They are pro fighters and that's their job. if they are lean and doing light training all the time then 6 weeks of hard training is enough to be ready for the biggest fight of their lives. If they are fat and out of shape 12 weeks might not be enough time to be ready. Smart boxers always stay ready. I think Khan will get the fight of his dreams and he probably has already been training for it. Khan will make Mayweather lots of money and I don't think he will have any problem beating Khan. Khan is just a guess on my part and there are many other fighters he could chose. I wish he would just tell the world who his opponent will be NOW!!!!

Simply because he hasn't made an announcement doesn't mean that the fight has not already been made.

One thing we can be sure of is that the fight will be agreed upon and contracts signed BEFORE AN ANNOUNCEMENT IS MADE! For all we know, he may be waiting on the Cotto/Alvarez announcement so that he can rain on their parade. Both Floyd and the guy he is fighting are likely already in training camp.

I am very surprised that a fight has not been announced yet. Was Floyd waiting for Thurman? If you're going to fight Khan just fight Khan.

I think the delay is because Floyd is actually going to fight a guy like Mayfield or Berto, and it's now a matter of figuring out how to make $40 million dollars on a matchup that they can't sell as a PPV.

They actually think that Floyd will decide who he wants to fight and then call the guy on the phone and tell him to start training, with no negotiations.
