So it's an unwritten rule that you should always be in training for a Floyd Mayweather fight because he's such a diva he won't even tell you properly that the fight is on?

How do you know he lets the guy know ahead of time and only delays the announcement to the public?

No. Pro fighters should keep themselves in shape at all times. That way, you can spend camp working on a fight plan rather than having to spend the whole camp on weight reduction.

Besides, do you really think when Floyd announces the fight is the exact point the opponent knew the fight got made? Come on dude, its ok to hate floyd, just do it with some intelligence and facts.

In every instance, when the fight was announced, it was written in stone. Except for the Maidana 2 fight, where negotiations were ongoing about the gloves.


But every other fight was signed sealed and delivered prior to the announcement.

Gotta love how TBE, Mr. only cares about Money Mayweather gives his opponents less than 2 months to train for what will be the biggest fight of their careers. Guy legit acts like a chick trying to keep everyone in suspense(as if his fights are anything but suspenseful) by delaying the announcements of his fights... While it might be a smart marketing move, if he's going to call himself TBE, he should at the very least, give his opponents the PROPER TIME to actually train... what a joke this guy is...

Maybe by the end of July he'll announce his big bogus free CBS send off fight with Berto or who the **** cares....unless the name is Lara/GGG or at the very least a deserving welterweight (who is your damn mandatory floyd) Thurman... The big wait will turn out to be a big joke....
