I personally believe that Spence has more potential than Thurman. But I don't think he is better now. And I don't believe that Spence deserves Thurman more than Thurman deserves another top 10 welter.

Thurman deserves a top 10 welter. Anything else is garbage. If Keith avoids Spence after getting 1-2 top welterweights I'll call it ducking.

Yeah, like I've mentioned, washed-up Guerrero got $2 million in the Thurman fight. Brook would definitely get more fighting Thurman. Point is, the money is there, but the balls are not. There's no real guarantee whether he'll get more in a May fight as Maidana made less as compared to Guerrero fighting Thurman.

Guerrero got $1.225 million.

Thurman might deserve to face somebody more established than Spence but I don't see how any fan can hate on Spence for being ready to test himself vs Thurman already. I hope Spence really turns out to be the type of guy that wants the best names and doesn't want to fight 10 more of these one week replacements before getting in a real 50/50 fight.

I noticed that Thurman said he would fight Spence, but only under one condition he gets 10 million bucks. Peculiar if you ask me because there was no monetary value placed on fights with khan or bradley or maidana or porter. Don't think Keith wants it with Errol

Errol Spence does absolutely nothing for Thurman's career right now. If Keith wins, people will just say "Errol Spence was nobody. Who did he ever beat?" And if Spence later goes on to become a great fighter, people will say Keith only won because Spence was green. Lets also not forget the fact there is no money in a Spence fight right now.
