I think the best one is one that someone mentioned, Chavez vs. Whitaker. They were the two best at the time and had a draw which was extremely controversial - no reason to run it back.

Yea Leonard was calculated with what he did. He took that Hagler fight only after Hagler was in his great war with Mugabi instead of taking that fight years before when he was the REAL Hagler. If yall forgot years before their fight Leonard did a press conference and invited Hagler to it like he was going to agree to fight him and instead he pulled the scam retirement card. In the Duran situation after Duran beat he him he admitted at calculatingly fighting him immediately because he knew Duran was out of shape and celebrating to much from their fight. Leonard was very calculated.

eric crumble vs floyd mayweather. i know they never technically fought in the pros but crumble crumpled floyd in sparring and never got the fight in the pros because of politics.

Well for me Leonard is one of my favorite fighters. HeHe did fight everyone. He had a few calculated fights. But Leonard is one of the best ever. Leonard is arguably one of top five best fighers in the world depending on who you ask but he is unaminously top ten of all times no questions asked.

We still don't know who actually is the better man head to head because of thst disappointing anticlimactic ending to what was some of the best 6 rounds in hw fistory
I was rooting for Vitali as I can't stand Lewis' smarmy ass, but TKO6 was legit.

I would have liked to see the rematch 'cause I'm a Vitali fan, but that was a fat, out of shape Lewis. The rematch Lewis (as we have seen in the past) would have been 100% and probably won.

I think an in shape Lewis prob won the rematch, but I think that he was very fortunate for the TKO6 in that fight. He was not in shape to handle the pace that Vitali brought that night.

You can't train to cut somebody so anytime it happens it's already a stroke of luck. To have a fight end in your favor because of it makes you very fortunate. I also heard (idk how true it was) that Lewis was lacing the cut with his gloves to keep worsening it until they ultimately stopped it. If that's actually the case, then the stoppage really was not definite proof of the better fighter.
