Comments Thread For: Thurman: Me and Mayweather Won't Be Boring Like 5/2

Tampa, Florida - After Keith Thurman (26-0, 22 KO’s) was victorious last night with an eight round stoppage of Luis Collazo, the questions of a potential fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. were plentiful. Thurman feels his performance against Collazo should warrant him a shot at the top guys in the welterweight division.

I'm afraid it could be him given how Floyd hasn't announced his fight yet. There must be a reason for why Floyd is waiting beyond Keith's fight yesterday

Every fight floyd Mayweather has been in has been boring. Plus Collozo had Keith running. Two runners one hugger and Bayless in the ring. Yep boring fight!

I understand that questions are being asked of him and I also understand that all this Mayweather talk in this various threads may be from the exact same interview, but this is beginning to be so much like Khan and I tired of reading about it. But I'm so intrigued by some of the top people or known fighters in the sport, I click on the topic, hoping to get something different. This thread and the thread about TBE being To Be Extinct, as well as others, should all be on one thread. If it's done that way, then I don't have to feel so overwhelmed by all the stories on this site. If I'm sick for a couple days or go out of town and don't bring my computer or the hotel charges an arm and a leg for wifi, when I do get back on the site, I'm like 200+ in the hole in trying to catch up on all the threads, so I have to skim through them and read whatever should be the most interesting to me. Too much copy and pasting of the same story of the same interview with only one or two added quotes. Other than that.... I love BoxingScene!!

FYI! If it's Mayweather fight, It's boring no matter who he fights, because if it's mayweather, it must be BORING. Dream on baby!

Why should this mayweather dissappear in boxing?!? He ruins the sweet science, I don't care how much he's being paid, but please make a fight for the fans of boxing! stop running and hugging and shoulder rolling, that's not the sweet science, even ALI (fly like a butterfly and sting like a bee) comes to fight. MAYWEATHER PLZZ.. EVEN ON YOUR LAST FIGHT! COME AND FIGHT!

LOL @ Thurman underestimating Floyd's style. He'll fight like he always does, we all know how the fight will turn out.

Thats funny, I found Thurman to be very boring against Collazo and Bundu. He mostly just ran from Collazo and wasn't able to land too much against a 40 year old.

Why is Thurman so allergic to Spence?

The book is out on Thurman already. If you back Thurman up he doesn't sit down on his punches. That negates a lot of his power. Also his defense is suspect. He was hurt against Soto Karass, Chaves hurt him numerous times, and Collazo hit him with a body shot from hell. Floyd walks through this kid.
