I can't argue with that at all. GGG goes out and takes out the guys that he is suppose to take out, no if's or but's.

That is GGG's "thing", he has lots of power, that's how we expect to see him win. I don't expect GGG to outbox anyone or go 12. He went 11 with Murray, but otherwise he beat up, not perfect but did beat him up. Still, this thread is a terrible comparison because there is obviously more to Thurman than just power, he does like to box and move around often, while GGG is just come forward at all times and just use his power.

Watched it again and I repeat, this was your typical Thurman performance. One of his greatest attributes is his conditioning, Collazo would have gotten taken out in bigger fashion eventually and we wouldn't even be entertaining this shit thread.

As for Golovkin, I'm a huge fan of his but his performances against Monroe and Murray haven't been too good, his defense was seriously lacking in those two bouts and we've never seen Thurman get hit that much.

You also want to see Ward move up for Kovalev then I'm sure, don't you?

              ARE YOU SERIOUS!?

Damn Kev, you done screwed up!

Golovkin is not all just power! Hes's one of the few power punchers that actually have some Mad skills, he's patient, he cuts the ring with excellence, goes to the body like no other, fires the jab with intention (not like some other boxers that just pitty pat jabs) he knows distance very well, and he has one of the best timing in boxing (contributing to many of his Knockouts!)!

You couldn't name ONE THING! that Thurman does better than Golovkin! NOT ONE THING!!!!

You honestly DKSAB if you a think Golovkin is " just power"! Seriously, you need help man...... you need help.

So the "typical Thurman performance" is to not impress? Hahaha!
And you say "taken out in bigger fashion"? Really, the fight went 7 rounds, what was he waiting for? A Runway?(with the way PBC is set up, they could fit that in there lol!)
And not once watching the fight, that I felt Thurman was going to destroy or take out Collazo! This fight looks like it was headed to a decision if not for that cut!

And if you want to talk about defense, and Thurman not getting hit that much, we can go back and watch the Diego Chaves fight where Chaves popped him a NOSE BLEED!
And his fight with Soto Karass where he had Thurman dancing in the first round, and Thurman has also been knocked down!
And now we have this painful bodyshot from Collazo, and for a guy like Thurman who moves and jumps around the ring a lot, he sure gets hit with some hard power shots as opposed to a guy like Golovkin who comes forward right at you, daring you to hit him!and still manages to get hit less than Keith, and many other professional boxers!

And you need to go watch more Golovkin fights!
There's some on YouTube.com check them out!

You said Curtis Stevens was going to be the one to really test GGG. Everyone knew that Rod was 2 divisions lower and wasn't going to do jack ****.

By the time they fought their 33rd fight, Cotto had moved up one weight division above his original division, Shane Mosley had moved up two weight divisions and Mayweather had moved up three divisions. Golovkin should be fighting at 175 by now (after supposedly cleaning out 168) instead of begging former 130 and 140 pound fighters to fight him.

By your logic, which is always among the worst ever, this man is severely overrated and had a lousy career.

And it's funny how you're trying to belittle Golovkin's win against Murray by saying it was "not perfect". Golovkin never left first gear and still put an absolute beating on Murray! All Murray had for that fight was guts!

As for Monroe, Golovkin allowed Monroe to hit him. It's ok if you don't believe that, but everything points to that being the truth! Monroe didn't do anything differently to change how the fight was going. Golovkin on the other hand clearly changed his approach. He could've kept stalking like he normally does but he put away his jab, and dropped his guard and was literally urging Monroe to hit him. Golovkin extended the Big Drama Show but then went back to doing what he does best and made Willie a good boy!

And I don't think you're a "huge fan" of Golovkin. You're just a hater masking as a fan! Or maybe you are a "huge fan" but like Kev, UDKSAB!

Like I said earlier, there's some Golovkin fights on YouTube, check them out. You might learn something.
