Comments Thread For: Arreola Wants to be Lighter and Active Against Kassi

Chris Arreola’s weight has long been a topic of conversation. The numbers on the scale have rollercoastered, ranging between as light as 229 pounds and as heavy 263. More often than not, he’s in the middle or heavier.

He was particularly heavy this past March, when he didn’t look very good in an eight-round slugfest win over Curtis Harper. Arreola weighed 262.25 pounds for that fight, just shy of his career high.

I think he should take out Kassi. I like arreola around 245-250. He has some bulk to absorb shots & he isn't getting any quicker dropping more weight. Looking pretty is irrelevant as long as he can go rounds. I want to see Arreola\wilder...

So Chris is going to come into a fight in fighting shape? How is going to do that, is he going to hire a replacement to fight for him?

The only time i seen him get stunned was against big punchers. Walker, stiverne & klitschko. He walked into bombs... I don't know what you are talking about.

Therein lies the issue. He'll never stop walking into bombs. He's a good B fighter, and he'd probably buckle Wilder which is a good fight and good payday for the guy, but he will always have his limitations. That will never change.

                aerrola is terrible

Fat slow out of shape disgusting poorly trained Chris Aerrola is terrible and more of a joke in boxing. Crying after the Vitali humiliation getting his huge nose broke by Stivierne in fight 1 and then getting KO'd in the rematch. Aerrola is not title contender and deserves nothing close to a title shot. maybe a shot of tequila or a shot at a free Buffet meal. Pillow Top Nose Aerrola is a clown.

Prime Arreola wasn't in shape vs Vitali years ago, how is he ever going to be nowadays. Helluva fighter, but the discipline and dedication just isn't there.

This is the case, and his limitations showed whenever he stepped up, as he got defeated every time.
