Why? He'll never get credit for it, as with all of his fights. If GGG comes down to 154 Floyd will never get credit for the victory. (even thought ggg came up with the offer). And the fans will cry, well his fans. At 154 GGG will be chasing floyd while getting popped in the face and around rd 8 or 9 that weight loss is gonna have him EXHAUSTED and Floyd will be fresh and full of energy, cause GGG is not used to having to go that deep into a match. Floyd UD. and of course the GGG fans are gonna be crying about him not going toe2toe with a middleweight, and using "boxing" skills against the bigger man, as if they've never seen a Mayweather Jr fight. How many times have JR been hit cleanly in his whole career? GGG will not get a chance to hit him the way you guys think, and when he did, he took it and got better. Floyd has a great chin and because some of you dont like him, you overlook it. But hey, floyd can used this and let it marinate like the Pac fight, and make more money using this as his first comeback from retirement fight and make a ton of money off of it. Whoever distances themselves away from the current pack of up and comers, can expect to fight floyd in a comeback fight, if GGG name keeps getting bigger, maybe its him that Floyd comes back for, he can always come back and beat an even older Pac. But not until Pac apologizes for his unsportsmanlike behavior and accepts an 80-20 deal.

People don't realize just how good Pacquiao and Mayweather are...that fight they had was a chess match..close fight...but look at how they beat opponents and look at others...

Mayweather would beat Triple G in a very tough fight..he'd have to really dig down and avoid some scare moments in the first 6 rounds...

But I think Floyd would adjust and take over the fight at 54' same thing with Pacquiao...

I would love to see Pacquiao v. Triple G with a REHYDRATION clause! We need to pressure Arum/Pacquiao to make that fight happen!

Floyd is not going to fight Triple G...he knows he'll have to be in a tough fight..and I don't think he's looking to a risk after the Pacquiao fight..he probably trained with his last bit of energy for that fight..he'd have to do that again for Triple G...

Neither Floyd nor Manny have the power to bother Golovkin, much less to hurt him. GGG could let them punch themselves out and walk right through everything they threw in the first few rounds and send both of them to dreamland. Probably in the same evening. GGG would hit Pac so hard that the Marquez punch would seem like a mosquito bite by comparison. Floyd's hands would simply shatter and self destruct from hitting Golovkin and he would be left with no offense at all.

The thought of either of them getting in the ring with GGG does nothing at all for me. I think of how sad Oscar looked in his fight with Manny and you would have to multiply that by a factor of at least 10 to get what Golovkin would do to either of those fighters. No one should end their career like that.

That's exactly how Pacquiao would have to fight him...same way he fought Oscar...stay on his toes and avoid exchanges..get in and get out..I'd be concerned with Triple G getting him on the ropes though...

Floyd would just be Floyd and Triple G would have trouble landing cleanly on him..

I don't know why you wouldn't want to see the fight though...Triple G is clearly the best fighter out besides May/Pac..great amateur pedigree as well...let's see if May/Pac are too old or can box the match of their lives and see what Triple G is made of...

I will recant and buy the GGG vs Jr fight but why weight drain a Mang?

Why not just fight for the MW title?

Forget the edge and go Jr !

You can still run and you looked as sharp as ever even better since you hooked up with good ol Memo

              Go Jr Go !!!!!

                  You're clueless... Triple G has a 1.5 m following on HBO..plus he's been on TMZ...ESPN would cover this fight..because it's a legit opponent...

You seem like a Floyd fan boy...

The fight isn't going to happen you're right, but perhaps Floyd's 50-0 fight...it could happen on HBO..if Floyd wanted..the fight is impossible to make for Sept. obviously...

So you'll be happy with a Khan fight? I'm not ordering that..nobody will care either...

The best we can hope for is Mayweather vs. Thurman in Sept. and then May-Pac 2 or May-Triple G in May 2016...

Anyone who bought into Pacquiao being a super fight was a fool how can a guy who was knocked by Marquez and fought 2 Jr welter after be considered a super fight . Might as well call Collazo vs Thurman an actual title defense fight
