Kell brook, Shawn porter, or amir khan aren't big fights for Thurman? And you believe a word that comes out of floyds mouth? I dont think Floyd is fighting Thurman, most likely amir khan Sept but you are really a fan boy if you take mayweathers word that hes not fighting after september

I think he showed very good legs to make up for the fact that he wasn't going to be able to set down on his shots and slug with an injured hand.....

Khan was more dominant over Collazo......but in a very ugly way and with 'styles make fights', I think Thurman would be a NIGHTMARE for Khan, who simply has boxed in a manner to not get hit against inferior opposition. He has good hand speed but Thurman is better at lateral movement, could pick spots to drag Khan into a slugfest and get out when he chose. Khan hasn't shown great power.....he couldn't drop Algieri.

Thurman could use movement to draw Khan in and pot shot and crack him enough to do damage......if he dropped Guerrero, he's got a good shot.......

That's the fight I'd try to make were I working with Thurman. He catches Khan flush and he's "One Time" again......

Brook would be a tough out for him........Bradley, Porter, Maidana.......all would make for interesting fights.

I've never been impressed by Thurman, and didn't need this fight to tell me that. I want to see him against some of the other second tier welters first.

No, it's time. Whatever the outcome, time to put Thurman in with the best.

Keith "one time a prospect" Thurman fails to impress again. Three subpar performances in a row; stick a fork in him.

Exactly. Fighting bums makes you worse.

This is just another fighter falling victim to unrealistic expectations that were put on him. We need Thurman/Bradley/Porter/Khan/Brook to all fight each other to establish the best welterweight post 9/12.

I can't wait for Floyd to retire. Every time a fighter gets hit, loses a second of a round or farts you can hear "your a hype job, your a phoney, you can't beat Floyd!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

*** that. If he's unable to hang, he's unable to hang. He's a champ, put him in their with threats.

                  No more backward steps.

What he needs is a break. His last two fights have been kinda rough. Plus he's forever walking around with old bruises around his eyes lately. I think he is what he is right now. His inside game will improve but that's about it and his flaws (seemingly suspect chin and body). There are still plenty of winnable fights for him against top fighters so they might as well start putting him in against them.

Porter will kick Thurman's ass. Let's see Khan vs Thurman's card on Mayweather's September fight.
